Bullying

Bullying is a term used to describe acts of physical or psychological, intentional and repeated, practiced by an individual or group of individuals in order to intimidate or harm another person unable to defend themselves.

Bullying is divided into two categories:
  • Direct bullying;
  • Indirect bullying; (also known as social aggression)
The Direct bullying is the most common male bullies. The social aggression or indirect bullying is the most common bullies women and children and is characterized by forcing the victim to social isolation.

This isolation is achieved through a wide variety of techniques, including:
  • spreading gossip;
  • refusing to socialize with the victim
  • intimidate others who wish to socialize with the victim
  • criticize the way they dress and other socially significant (including the victim's race, religion, disability, etc).
How can we avoid bullying ?
With simple actions, for exemple being nice to all people and respect their choices, is a good start.
It's impossible to maintain a standard of human beings, each one has its personality, dress, culture and purchasing power. So let's understand each other and live like Mother Teresa taught us, as brothers.
